USA bekommt Cupcake in etwa einer Woche
Ich stelle fest, die Kundenpflege bei T-Mobile in den USA scheint besser zu sein, als hierzulande.
Zum Beispiel gibt es da ein T-Mobile Forum, wo man eine offizielle Aussage in Sachen Cupcake-Update bekommen kann.
Warum macht T-Mobile in Deutschland so etwas nicht? Sind die Deutschen wirklich so konservativ wie man es denen nachsagt?
Wie dem auch sei, das Cupcake verzögert sich für ca. eine Woche in den USA. Das OTA-Update wurde zwar für Ende dieser Woche angekündigt, wird aber wahrscheinlich erst nächste Woche erscheinen.

We’d like to provide an update on the rollout of Android 1.5 for T-Mobile G1 customers.
We are working diligently to get Android 1.5 out as soon as possible, while aiming to ensure a consistent, positive experience for our customers. We’re finalizing the build this week to ensure optimal functionality and smooth delivery. Therefore, the rollout schedule has been reset by approximately a week, and we expect all G1 customers will have the update by early June.Your device will notify you when the update is available. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
T-Mobile is delighted to announce the upcoming release of Android 1.5 with “Cupcake” coming soon to the T-Mobile G1! We plan to begin sending out the update starting the end of this week. As with previous software maintenance releases, the update will be randomly sent “over the air” to T-Mobile G1 customers. We expect everyone will have their update by the end of May.
